Community Care

We seek to transform communities for the glory of God and the protection of the vulnerable. In rural Ghana, change lasts when spiritual and physical needs are met together – when the Gospel is preached, clean water flows, churches take root, and young people learn skills that lead to work.

Our approach is simple and steady: show up consistently → honor local leadership → and build what a village can sustain.

As churches disciple youth, wells free families from the daily burden of unsafe water, and young adults gain employable skills, the risks that push children toward separation begin to fade.

Gospel Outreach

In partnership with Matthew 10 Ministries, each month, trained leaders and discipled youth visit remote villages to share the hope of Jesus. These gatherings are joyful and clear: worship, preaching, prayer, and time to listen. Bibles are placed in hands. Conversations start that continue long after the speakers are quiet. For many, it is the first time they’ve heard the Gospel from neighbors who understand their culture and know their world.

Follow-through matters. After each outreach, local believers return to visit homes, pray with families, and invite new friends into ongoing discipleship. The goal isn’t a one-time event; it’s a living relationship with Christ and a path into a church community that will walk alongside people as the grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Clean Water Wells

Clean water changes everything. A reliable well reduces waterborne illness, protects children from the long daily walks to distant water sources, and gives hours back to families – time that can now be spent in school, at work, and around a table together. When a village drinks safely, you can feel the difference in attendance at school and church, and you can see it in the energy of the children.

Wells are strategically selected and installed with the help of local leaders, and each village forms a simple water committee for care and upkeep. Alongside the hardware, we provide basic hygiene teaching so families understand how to keep water clean from source to cup. With 24 wells installed, communities are already seeing health and stability rise – signs that renewal has begun.

Church Plants

When faith takes root, churches become anchors for the village. Pastors preach, teach, and counsel; elders and volunteers keep an eye on families under pressure; and youth find belonging through programs that challenge them to grow. A church building may be simple, but the community around it is strong—people who know one another’s names and needs.

Across 9 church plants, more than 720 youth are being discipled. They learn Scripture through the Levite program, serve together, and receive mentorship that helps them navigate school, work, and relationships. As churches mature, they become places where families find practical help in crisis and steady hope in Christ—quiet, faithful work that prevents the situations that lead to abandonment or exploitation.

Life Development Centers (LDCs)

LDCs are where faith and work meet. They feel like a village workshop that belongs to everyone. A welder from the church shows teens how to measure and cut straight, then helps them repair a real gate or a broken pump handle for a neighbor. A mechanic rolls a motorbike onto the stand and teaches how to listen for a healthy engine. In the field, students learn Farming God’s Way and see tired soil come back to life. What they practice in the morning can bless a family by afternoon

Formation is as important as technique. Students pray together, talk about honesty and keeping promises, and learn simple money skills like saving first and pricing fairly. They practice writing a basic resume, showing up on time, and caring for customers with respect. A local nurse teaches community first aid so they can help when someone is hurt. Pastors and mentors check in often, reminding every young person that their gifts are for the good of their family and their village.

When a student leaves an LDC, they carry more than a trade. They carry confidence, a few tools, and the steady habits that make work possible. Many start small jobs close to home, keep siblings in school, and serve in their churches. This is how a community grows strong from the inside out.

Where We’re Heading

We believe God is building something durable. Looking ahead, the vision includes more churches leading their communities, more villages with safe water, and more young adults equipped for meaningful work. By 2040, the aim is 40 churches planted, 80 wells installed, and 5 Life Development Centers operating across Ghana – each one locally led and built to have impact for generations to come.

Food security is a critical component as well. Homes and churches will cultivate gardens and receive training in Farming God’s Way, while senior youth leaders pursue additional training to serve their regions. We’re strengthening systems for transparency and measurement so progress is clear and stewardship remains strong, and we’re working toward a high sponsorship rate so children connected to these communities have stable support.
