Family-Style HomesWe operate family style homes where children live with consistent caregivers, often called aunties and uncles, who are trained in child protection and discipleship. Daily rhythms include meals together, homework support, Bible study, and time to play. Homes are rooted in local churches so children belong to a wider community of faith.
This means that every child that is part of our Orphan Care Program receives the type of care that feels like family – not like an institution. They have a real connection to a neighborhood school and church youth programs. And, they have clearly defined pathways to adulthood through mentorship and skills training.
Community Schools and ChurchesEducation opens doors and the church anchors belonging. Our community school serves 100+ local children, and across 9 church plants, pastors disciple 720+ vulnerable youth while supporting families at risk. School is also protective. When children are in class each day, they are less likely to be pulled into unsafe work or exploitation, and more likely to grow in confidence through reading and reasoning that prepares them for life.
Because generous sponsors and donors cover the real costs of schooling, children can attend without worry about uniforms, books, tuition, or exam fees. Tutors help close learning gaps early. Through our churches’ Levite programs, students from elementary through high school are discipled in God’s Word and practical life skills. Church communities provide steady mentorship, youth programs, and practical help in times of crisis. As attendance stays steady, character grows, families find support, and hope takes root in their villages.
Life Development Centers (LDCs)Older students need more than a diploma. They need marketable skills, work habits, and a path to steady income. LDCs provide hands-on training designed with local leaders to match real jobs in the region. When teens gain practical skills, they step into dignified work and can provide for future families.
Because generous sponsors and donors underwrite tools, trainers, and scholarships, cost is not a barrier. Training covers welding, improved farming, and auto repair. Students also learn EMT basics and community first aid, financial stewardship and work readiness, and Farming God’s Way with supervised small business practice.
Your generosity becomes a safe home, a seat in the classroom, and skills for a first job. Choose the path that’s right you.
