Bringing Clean Water and the Living Water to Ghana
For over 10 years, we have challenged those around us to collect their spare change to make a difference across the ocean. We have asked you to help bring clean water to communities in need and, through the simple gift of water, help us share the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
And year after year, you have answered the call.
Our last water well was drilled in the rural village of Awhiam, Ghana.
Our relationship with this community began through a Gospel crusade, where lives were changed and souls came to Christ. With no church in their village, these new believers began traveling nearly 30 minutes each week to worship at our main church in Ningo.
For an entire year, they faithfully made that journey.
Then God opened the door for us to build a church right in their own community.
At the time, families in Awhiam were collecting water for drinking, cooking, washing, and everyday needs from a nearby pond—the very same pond their livestock frequented daily.
Through your generosity, we were able to drill a clean-water well right beside their new church.
Today, that well is more than a source of clean water. It is a daily reminder to the entire village that while water sustains our earthly bodies, Jesus Christ alone is the true Living Water.
This Year, Our Journey Takes Us to Ehi, Ghana.
Three years ago, we drilled a well in the heart of Ehi, bringing clean water to a community of approximately 3,000 people. Since then, God has continued to move in this village, and we have established a thriving church on its outskirts.
The church now sits on three acres of land, where crops are grown to help feed the congregation and others in need. What began with the gift of clean water has grown into a ministry that nourishes both body and soul.
But there is still a need.
The crops need water to grow, and the congregation needs a dependable source of water on the church property.
This year, we are asking you to join us once again.
Our goal is to drill a new well directly on the church grounds in Ehi. This well will provide water for the congregation, help sustain the crops that feed families, and support the continued growth of a church that is sharing the hope of Jesus Christ throughout its community.
For more than a decade, you have shown us what God can do with something as small as spare change. Coins collected in jars, small sacrifices made by families, and gifts given with love have crossed an ocean and become something so much greater.
Clean water. Nourished families. Growing churches. Lives touched by the Gospel.
And this year, we have another opportunity to make a difference together.
