For months, we have been planning a crusade on the island of Dodi. Remember when God told our team to go? We went and He laid out a plan. A perfect plan created by Him. And last week that plan came to fruition. And thousands came.
As the first day began, children were walking for miles by themselves. Moms were carrying their babies to be fed and clothed. Families were spending the day together in great expectation of what they would experience. In reality, they had no idea what was coming.
And each day, thousands heard the Gospel. They were fed. They were clothed.
And they were given Christmas gifts made by our amazing women of Esther’s Hope. But most of all, they heard of the most precious gift of all, a newborn King born thousands of years ago to save the world.
And every day, hundreds gave their lives to Jesus. They proclaimed Him as their Savior and started a journey…one laid out by Him.
And what we are realizing as a ministry is this is just the beginning. It’s the beginning of a long journey with the people of Dodi island. It is communities of new believers that are thirsty for Jesus. It is planning to plant a church on this little island. It is continuing to disciple Richard whom we met months ago, so that he can then disciple his own communities.
And finally, we are once again reminded that when God says go, you do just that. You obey and you follow. And because of each of you reading this today, it is possible. You make preaching the Gospel possible. You make discipling the lost possible. You bring the smiles to the faces and tears flowing the cheeks of new believers.
As we finish out 2020, we rejoice with you and we thank you. Friends, journey with us into 2021 and continue making a difference. Help us ensure that all have a chance to hear the Name of a King that can change their lives.
