Six years ago, Pearl’s father died. She and her mother lived together with Pearl’s three younger siblings.
Eventually, Pearl met a man who promised to marry her, but once Pearl became pregnant, the man abandoned her. God introduced Pearl to the Beebe family through her younger brother who was also in need. Pearl Had applied for jobs throughout Ghana. She clearly wanted to work, but her attempts left her empty-handed.
Pearl has helped FTO create a new product of “Quilting and Craft Squares”. Currently, she is the only lady assembling these bright, vibrant packs of fabric. She meticulously measures, cuts, irons, and assembles each pack. Without electricity in her home, Pearl is ironing each piece of fabric with an iron filled with hot coal. She is dedicated.
When asked if Pearl enjoys her work, she responded, “I can’t believe God has brought me to this. My work allows me to help children just like me. I never thought I would be anything and now look what God has done.”
